My name is Mohammed, and birdwatching has been part of my life since childhood. I was born and raised in Morocco, surrounded by mountains, deserts, forests, and wide open landscapes filled with incredible birdlife. Over the years, what started as a simple passion became my profession and my way of sharing Morocco with people from around the world.
I created WildBirdWatchingMorocco.com to offer authentic birding experiences guided by someone who truly knows the land, the birds, and the hidden places that most visitors never see.
For more than 20 years, I have explored Morocco’s diverse habitats — from the High Atlas Mountains and the Atlantic coast to the Sahara Desert and remote wetlands. Every region has its own beauty, its own atmosphere, and its own unique species.
But for me, birdwatching is not only about making a checklist. It is about slowing down, enjoying nature, listening to the sounds of the landscape, and experiencing Morocco in a deeper and more meaningful way.
